As many of you know (and have supported first hand), Squarebar is almost midway through an exciting and nerve racking Kickstarter project – we reached the 60% mark earlier today and have less than 17 days to go! But one thing we’ve come across a good deal over the course of those first two weeks, is that a lot of folks out there are a bit confused as to how the whole shebang works.

Sarah’s Weekend Garbanzo Bean Pancakes

It may sound a little weird at first (pancakes made out of garbanzo bean flour…for breakfast?), but our taste buds were just as shocked the first time we graced our Saturday morning with a big plate of these hot cakes. Over the weekends, Sarah’s come to perfect the masterpiece, and would love for you to share in our comfort food spoils…

Ingredients:

2 cups garbanzo bean flour (cheapest in the bin section of the market)

2 cups water

3 tsp baking powder

¼ tsp cinnamon

¼ tsp sea salt

¼ cup walnut oil

¼ cup apple sauce

2 eggs
